Respite Care

Respite means "break" or "relief". Respite care is designed to give care givers a break from care giving responsibilities. Respite allows caregivers the opportunity to engage in self care activities that they find relaxing, entertaining, and therapeutic while a trained respite provider cares for your child.

Peace of Mind

Caregivers deserve a break without the guilt weighing down on their shoulders. Some caregivers choose to have someone take on their care giver role for a few hours some require more. Caring for a child with special needs is rewarding but often times parents experience burn out and forget the importance of their own self care and mental needs. Rather you need a couple of hours to take a nap or eight hours to shop, go to lunch, and attend to appointments. Your child will be in the care of highly trained professionals who will follow your child's care plan to the fullest in the comfort of their own home and natural environment.

Respite Care Provider will engage child in a variety of meaningful activities including:

-Recreation Games

-Art and Crafts

-Outdoor Physical Activities

-Music

-Community Outings

-In-Home Activities
